MRT’s Ford Fusion on Ford’s booth at Sema 2012 won Ford Motor Company’s prestigious “Outstanding Design and Achievement Award”

This year at SEMA saw the MRT Ford Fusion wowing the crowds with their stand! Fitted onto the Ford Fusion were EBC 3 GD Drilled and Slotted Sport Rotors and EBC Red Stuff .  EBC 3GD Rotors/discswork brilliantly on a Ford Fusion mainly because of their ability to brake heavily whilst remaining cool and dust/dirt free. This is all down to the unique aperture slots that draw cool air around the brake pad contact area. They also work excellently in wet conditions and remain the best choice of brake rotor/discs for heavier cars or 4×4′s. Redstuff brake pads are the most suitable for the Ford Fusion because of the fact that they are very hard wearing taking 1000 miles to bed in and also because of their low dust factor.  This helps to stop a heavier car much faster than OEM pads when traveling at high speeds. Thank you for your support in this year’s SEMA efforts! The 2013 Ford Fusion built by MRT for the Ford Booth was a HUGE success! We are proud to say that Ford Motor Company awarded the MRT Fusion vehicle with the “Outstanding Design and Achievement” award this year; evidence the outstanding products showcased on this car caused it to be singled out as a favorite. This award marks the tenth consecutive year that an MRT vehicle was honored with a prestigious Ford Motor Company award – an accomplishment we are very proud of.

While at SEMA the MRT fusion received special notice from Horsepower TV, MSN and several automotive web sites. The response we have had on our social media has been huge and still is providing a lot of chatter. No promises are in place, but there is talk with Ford of this car being displayed by Ford at this years Detroit North American International Auto Show, which would be tremendous exposure for all of us.

Now we are onto the schedule of showing and demonstrating this car at events and venues around the country. We are planning on showing and demonstrating the car at 25 enthusiast events over the next year, please let us know if you have any events or venues that we can make the car available for.
